The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Ophthalmology Society (VOS) has officially announced plans for the 2026 Vietnam Ophthalmology Conference (VOS 2026). Considered the year’s most important annual event and the largest professional gathering in Vietnamese ophthalmology, it will take place on November 13–15, 2026, at the Ariyana International Convention Centre in Da Nang. Nearly 3,000 delegates are expected, including leading Vietnamese professors, doctors and healthcare specialists, as well as international guests from reputable ophthalmology organisations.

Exploring 19 specialist tracks and a regional academic forum
VOS 2026 will include one plenary session and 19 specialist tracks covering phaco surgery, glaucoma, vitreoretinal care, paediatric ophthalmology, refraction, oculoplastic surgery, ocular trauma and neuro-ophthalmology.
For the first time, the programme will collaborate with the Indochina Ocular Inflammation Group to expand its regional scientific forum. A special surgical image and video-report session will remain a focal point for younger surgeons, sharing refined techniques, rare clinical cases and experience in managing complex complications.
Expanding scientific submissions and international collaboration
The Organising Committee has opened registration for scientific reports and sponsorship from healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical companies and medical-device businesses. The event provides an opportunity to update medical advances, promote technology transfer, strengthen international cooperation and contribute to better vision care.
